I love Dropbox and the way it allows me to put my files in the cloud and share them with friends, but I’ve come across a flaw in their application. I was consistently having to restart my Finder application on my Mac due to it crashing or hanging. Office 2016 mac uninstaller.

Come to find out, Dropbox was the culprit. “Dropbox injects some of its code into Finder so that the icon overlays display.” I also noticed that emptying my trash would also hang because of this (the trash is linked to Finder). I am glad I didn’t have to reinstall the OS just to figure out that it wasn’t a Mac OS issue. Dropbox really needs to fix this.
