Exporting Notion in Markdown & CSV format When you export using the Markdown & CSV option, all of your pages will be exported in markdown while your databases/tables will be exported as CSV files. Once you have pressed the “ Export all workspace content ” button, select “ Markdown & CSV ” and click “ Export “. So it seems other people have been having problems uploading Markdown to Notion.so. I had to do a bunch of bulk import so wrote a Python script using the wonderful notion-py to import Markdown better than Notion's importer. Hope any of you trying to do bulk import find this useful. • It allows getting notion note modelized as an array of blocks, each block being a text line, a title, an image, a list item, etc. I found markdown to be the best format to import Notion notes because the Gatsby plugin gatsby-transformer-remark handles it very well and have itself a plugin to display all kinds of videos. • Click on the ••• icon at the top right of any Notion page you want to export.

  Export might be turned off for your workspace. Admins can turn off this option in the Security & SAML tab of Settings & Members to keep workspace data internal.

• If a file is very large (depending on the number of sub-pages included), we may send you an email with a download link rather than automatically starting a download. This is not always the case. No email will be sent if you were able to download the file right away.
